- Vaccinations- Our veterinarians will work with you to make an individualized vaccination plan for your animals. They will go over core vaccines for each species, those recommended to your animal’s lifestyle, and those specifically recommended to our area. Our veterinarians are very experienced in tailoring vaccinations to each patient while keeping them maximally protected.
- Fecal Egg Count- Give us a small sample of your animal’s manure (at least twice a year) and we will tell you IF you need to deworm and WHAT product will work best for you! If your animal is what we term a “high-shedder” (many parasite eggs were in the manure) than our veterinarians will expertly determine which dewormer to use, how frequently, and when the manure should be re-tested.
- Nutrition- We all love to see round plump horses BUT in the lush grassland of Virginia, that is NOT always the best. Our veterinarians will help you manage horses that need weight management, those that need help putting on weight, and any nutrition concerns you have for your cattle, small ruminants, and camelids!
- Senior Horse Management- Allow our veterinarians to customize a plan to keep your Senior happy and healthy throughout their golden years. We routinely discuss feed management, pain management, parasite control, vaccinations, and exercise routines with our clients and their beloved equestrian partners. Our veterinarians are very sensitive to both their clients and patients needs in all seasons of life.
